Each year there are families that are unable to enjoy the holidays because of food insecurity! Our goal is to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need.

Sigma Gamma Rho

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was organized on November 12, 1922, in Indianapolis, Indiana, by seven young educators. From seven young educators, Sigma Gamma Rho has become an international service organization comprised of women from every profession. Sigma Gamma Rho offers its members opportunities to develop their unique talents through leadership training and involvement in sorority activities. Sorority activities provide an atmosphere where friendships and professional contacts are developed which often lead to bonds that last a lifetime. Sigma Gamma Rho has a proud legacy of providing positive and proactive community leadership and support when and wherever needed as indicated by the sorority’s international slogan, “Greater Service, Greater Progress.” You can learn more about our sorority at sgrho1922.org.

Theta Rho Sigma

Theta Rho Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. is the third Alumnae chapter in the five boroughs of New York City. Ten dynamic young women, who all represent the true meaning of trailblazers, organized the chapter on November 1, 1998 in The Bronx, New York. Theta Rho Sigma is about progressive change and setting new trends. Our mission is to take Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. to a new level by working together towards a common goal.
